Board of Education Vacancy

Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 is seeking applications for the currently vacant Board of Education position.

  • An individual will be appointed to fill the vacancy until the April 2029 elections have been held and certified and a newly elected individual has been sworn in.
  • Interested persons must submit a letter via email to lsharkey@hsdist157.org expressing interest in the board position no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026.
  • Interested individuals will be interviewed by the Board of Education.
