Important Note
Students with disabilities who do not qualify for an Individualized Education Program (IEP) under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) may still qualify for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 if they (i) have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, (ii) have a record of such an impairment, or (iii) are regarded as having such an impairment.
Timely & Meaningful Consultation (TMC) Meeting Notice
On Wednesday, May 7th, from 12:00-1:00 PM, Hoover-Schrum School District #157 will conduct a Timely & Meaningful Consultation (TMC) meeting. The meeting will be held in the Hoover’s Media Center @ Hoover Elementary School.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the District’s plan for providing special education services to students with disabilities from PreK to 8th grade, those attending private and home school within Hoover-Schrum School District #157’s attendance boundaries for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are the parent of a privately placed or home-schooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability, and you reside or have a child that attends school within the District #157 boundaries.
