We have had a great start at Hoover Elementary. Our motto, ‘What’s Best for Kids’, has been the driving force behind our goal of creating the best education for our students. Hoover teachers have stepped up to the challenge by creating activities to make the educational process, both in and out of the classroom, entertaining and engaging. The warm, welcoming, and loving atmosphere has been a positive part of the school culture. The evolution of technology has changed our approach to teaching as well as the learning that students experience in the classroom. Teachers have stepped into roles that leverage their skills and that has led to a deeper understanding of how to integrate technology into their lessons.

The educational environment is not confined to the classroom. It extends to activities outside of the school day. When students engage in such activities, they get the chance to diversify their skills, have fun, and create new memories. Teachers who invest in the student-teacher relationship by showing interest in students' activities, get to see the students being successful outside of the classroom. When teachers show interest in students, especially those who may feel disconnected, relationships grow and students become more connected to their education. Activities that support family-staff interaction are the cornerstone of the district.

We have maintained a focus on student learning, identified key goals, and aligned resources for professional learning and ongoing support for our teachers. As we move forward, we will continue to embrace challenges and empower our students to be competitive in the real world.
